Lost dog forever

Sadly, we buried our 15 year old terrier, Lola, today.
We discovered a lump, and she had surgery in January.
In April, it came back, and the vet had previous samples sent to pathology.
They confirmed the worst, so between daily medication, bandaging and lots of love, she lasted longer than expected.
Last night, we decided to get her final needle today.
Life is short, death is forever.
RIP Lola.

Sorry for your loss Mike. We've had to help a few over The Rainbow Bridge over the years and it's never easy. I'll give our Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler an extra pat from you today!

That’s very sad Mike. Losing a pet is very hard. Hope the happy memories bring you some comfort. EricT

It's one of the reasons I've never owned a dog. I saw how the death of my sister's dog affected her, and I don't think I could bear it.
