Classic British Flight Sim

It didn't take long for the counters to indicate the results last night.
For weeks, the media has spread reports of "hung parliament", "neck and neck", "we won't form a minority government with....."
That all went into the bin last night, with Labor (WHY did they use the foreign spelling from way back ??) sweeping the board from the start.
The opposition leader even lost his own seat, so can't be leader for now.
We'll see how it all pans out, eh?

Good luck! We just had our federal elections and our opposition leader lost the vote he was set to win before Trudeau resigned and he lost his seat too and is refusing to stand-down as leader of the party despite not having a seat in Parliament! We may not be done with the smarmy little bastrad though as some a$$kisser from a middle-of-nowhere riding with an 84% majority has said he will step down so smarmy git can run in his safe seat to get back into parliament!

I hope he loses that seat too just because of the underhand way they are treating the residents of that area. It's does nothing for them and everything for the corrupt politicians busy lining their own pockets because you can bet the the original candidate was offered a huge bonus to step down!

Some in the UK media are saying Albanese benefited from the anti-Trump factor, similar to Mark Carney in Canada, but having followed the Oz elections, I think it really is more about domestic issues. Nevertheless, well done Australia, and Canada too. We know that accountable democracy will continue to thrive there.

There are no politics involved it was just a statement of fact!

I don't do politics and haven't voted in any election, in any country, for more than 45 years! The reason I don't vote is because I have yet to come across any candidate or party that I have found worthy of my vote! They all lie to suit their own personal agendas and to line their own pockets and do nothing for the people who put them in office!

As it stands at the moment I am not allowed to vote in Canadian elections because I am not a Canadian citizen and I am not allowed to vote in UK elections because I have been out of the country for too many years (25+). That suits me down to the ground as I can happily say "Don't blame me, I didn't vote for them" to any political question!

It'll be interesting to watch Mark Carney. He was considered a very competent governor of the Bank of England
