Pubbly collar day 26th January.

A controversial day, Australia Day, and though many workers made a really long week end of it, taking today off their annual leave today, tomorrow is the official pubbly collar day.
Maybe a few of the other Australian residents can pop in and wave the flag? I know of at least three others.

Well, I've run a a comprehensive search but can find no references to Pubbly Collar day, it's meaning or whatever. Please enlighten us.

Unless I’m mistaken I assume it’s Oz for Public Holiday.
