Revell 1/72 RCAF Halifax MkIII "Hells Fire" pursued by 1/72 Italeri Me110G.
Aircraft are motorised using micro motors.
Base is illuminated and animated with sounds from a Lancaster crew engaging night fighters over the target.
TI's are illuminated by pressing an actual Lancaster bomb release tit.

I'm assuming that's your build DTR.
You've put a lot of time into that! :welldone:
How much space have you allocated for displays, and are the lower Halifaxes scratch built?
I still have a cupboard full of unmade kits; I'm worried that when I start, reality won't match my hopes. :worried:
If you have other photos available, I for one, would like to see more.

That is rather excellent, DTR. Nice to see a Halifax rather than a Lanc in such a diorama. The marker flares are very well done.

I wanted to build something different and the Halifax is often overlooked in favour of the Lanc.

I had to use a bit of poetic licence so they fitted in my cabinet :-)

Yes, all built by me.
How much space? Anything I can get away with at home.
The lower Halifaxes are 1/700 scale and 3d printed (not by me).
See my build thread link in this thread.

"Patience", that's so often mentioned when folks are looking at a finished project.
I don't know about DTR, but for Mrs Airspeed and me, you get involved in doing the thing, and patience doesn't really enter the equation. I'm sure that happens to FS model makers and scenery makers too.
Keep well, Eric ;)
