Hi All,

If you're struggling with cabin fever and don't already have it I've uploaded the old Flying Stations Sea Fury model on my blog. There's a P3Dv4 specific version which has 64 bit dll gauges.

I've got it already, but thank you anyway, a nice gesture.

I've had it from the first day it went on sale and I used to love it but then I changed from Win 7 to Win 10 and ran into all sorts of issues including my HOTAS not playing with Win 10 nicely and having to use FSUIPC (paid version) to set up my HOTAS. That then led to issues with the DLL file controlling the turbo/supercharger not working correctly and I had to delete it and run without a complete engine!

Did the Win10, FSUIPC, DLL issues ever get resolved Skippy as I would love to have it fully working again (I still fly it from time to time but it lacks ooomphh!)

Phil you are a gentleman and a star! I am extremely grateful. It couldn't be better timed, what with the release of P3D5.

Dare I ask... :worried: ... would PBR be on the cards someday? ;)

Skippy,
That's an impressive gesture on your part, many thanks. ;)
The accompanying notes are comprehensive indeed; I can see that this powerhouse needs respectful handling.
I've been within a few feet of one being man-handled, then taxying to the runway at Avalon Air Show, a large piece of aircraft. :agree:

I had to turn on the supercharger in the aircraft.cfg to get it to go in FSX SP2. Will have to try on my laptop that has FSX+Acc. AFSD though still shows about 1900 HP.
Not complaining cos its a very generous gift, for which thank you Skippy.

My father maintained a civil T 20(?) G-BCOV in the 70's. Built like a battleship so the Navy could manhandle it!!!

I have investigated further for FSX SP2 & made the following changes to the aircraft.cfg:
[piston_engine], halfway down is a heading 'turbocharged=0', change this to '1', the next line is 'max_design_mp=46.5' increase this to '62' so that the boost gauge reads about 9 psi at max revs. Leave the 'supercharger' entries lower down, as they are, FSX SP2 wont read them.
As the Pilots notes comment about a go around & the torque at low speed, I was unable to control it in roll, so in the [flight_tuning] last line 'torque_on_roll=7.5' i have lowered this to 2.0 - it will still bite you, but it is controllable!
I have confirmed that the FSX download works very well in FSX+Acc on my laptop without any changes, although might turn down the torque_on_roll.
Happy landings
Keith

A great aircraft in FSX, and equally lovely in P3DV4.5. All stores and RATOG work as intended.

Thanks Skip!
