Problem

I puchased and installed Ireland in ORBX whch then appeared to cause problems with UK200 Durham Tees Valley - no buildings.

Unable to alter the situation throiugh the scenery Library, I uninstalled VFR Airfields and then re installed. Was told a new Common Objec Library was available - installed that.

On going to EGNV the buildings were back, but these tinkers have taken up residence: -

The only way to shift 'em is to turn off the Common Object Library - which rather defeats the object of having it.

Any ideas? Perhaps George (GHD)?

Hi Graham
I have all my uk2000 scenery at the top of the scenery library no 1 spot is uk2000 common Library My Orbx stuff follows further down Ftx airports and regions follow below my soarfly Jersey, (last non Orbx UK Airport)
Check the entry in Orbx Central where: Install Ftx below...... In settings > insertion point

Hi Graham,

They are Cobham's Fakcons which are there in real life.

See: https://www.aerosociety.com/news/flying ... dark-side/

They also check airfield ILS systems up and down the country.

Can't you use the options program to remove statics?

Have done George. I have noticed in the past that at various airfields - even with this optioon taken - some statics appear.

Will re check.

Strange.

Checked in P3Dv2 - no aircraft at EGNV.

Went back to v4 - they were back in residience.

Opened the options programme, statics unchecked.

Selected add statics and then immediately no statics. Went back to EGNV and they were gone.

One of life's mysteries.

Keep well George.
