Plastic people

Watched a TV programme last night about a man who is making 3D printed prosthetics.
They cost a very small amount, some as little as 80 cents, and he gives them to needy people for the cost of postage.
Fascinating stuff alright, but more astounding were the mini brains they are building by rewriting the code of skin cells, making them stem cells, then growing basically functioning brains. They have networked them, and they communicate with each other. :-O
