Mrs A has a contact who recently moved from New Mexico to California.
The extended family is building on a country property. "Baby" is her great-grandchild.
To keep the baby out of harm's way, while they're building, they use an outdoor playpen.
Baby's parents noticed baby waving sticks around, and went to dis-arm the child.
Turned out the older siblings had found a baby rattlesnake, and made a house for it in the playpen, leaning sticks on a rock with some grass underneath for it to lie on. :worried: :-O

Its actually very rare for rattle snakes to kill ppl, usually its the infection after not the venom itself. Of course a small child like that,,,

Glad no creatures were harmed.
