Number 3 for me I think, but they're all good.

(apart from the bump maps

)

Yep.. the old 'Milviz Bumps' syndrome

Some later paints for it have reworked bumps but this aint one. Guess I could try one though

This old Phantom Phixer goes with #3 too, just a shame theres a few model (and colour) errors for it to be an accurate F3 (F4J-UK).

None at all, also removed some of the ugly USN antennas and warts, added a bit of British flavour with the periscope and 2nd tail probe

Anyway, still unhappy with the shape of this model, specially the canopy is wrong. There's only one F-4 in FSX with the correct shape (SimWorks Studios), albeit only the B/N version. If only Jamal would make a Spey engined one too...

I'm fed up dropping hints for a K/M.. but not fed up enough to stop
Pete.. yup, the authors RN paint is the same.. that is, not right. I did ask if he could change it but never received a reply
Since the v1 release from SWS, I actually like it better than the MV J/S but I've stopped flying it until the Phantom_RS.dll error is resolved. They're working on it so fingers crossed.. it won't be long. Don't care for the lump under it's chin otherwise.. it's a better candidate for K/M conversion

It doesn't cost $60 either

Hi Henk,
It seems that you are able to get into payware models and tweak them. I see the extra fin probe and a couple of bits lopped off.
I find it hard enough changing things when I have a model of my own making, in the actual making programme!
Bumpmaps? My eyes must be letting me down.
Though I think that the Phantom looks good from pretty much any angle - it's a mean machine; I'd vote for pic3 too. The others are just a little on the "3 view" side. Thanks for posting, Dave.

Actually the F3 being ex USN did come with a selection of bumps and warts antenna, but with nothing insides them
