Istanbul, Ataturk to Berlin, Templehof...All the pictures are best viewed clicked up to full size.

Well I'm up and out of the murk and settled in my "Fast Cruise" with 33 inches and 2400 RPM.

You can see all the murk below and...

...sometimes this thicker stuff.

Here we are a bit further along with the lower stuff cleared to reveal quite a covering of snow.

This stuff coming at me might be snow or sleet!

Here is a shot of it from outside.

Well I glad to see the back of that stuff whatever it was!

I've had to use a bit of carb air heat from time to time and need to watch out for carb icing and I'm using the wing anticing sometimes as well.

I love this shot with a burst of sunlight coming in the port window and casting a shadow of the mixture levers and throttles on the starboard cockpit wall.

Here is the "Half Fuel Used" after 732 nms distance run so we could in theory do a total distance of 1464 nms in these wind favourable conditions,

Well here we are, established on the ILS for runway 09 Right at Templehof...I have been here many times as co-pilot in the Super One-Elevens in 1972 and 73 before I started my Command course on the Vanguard in August 1973

Here is the last shot I took before the computer crashed with an OOM error.

I took these last three shots...

...the next day...

...as I prepared for the next leg to Westerland, Sylt...I spent a lot of time there in the R.A.F. in the 1950s on Venoms.
Thanks for looking
