Whilst on the pier at Whitby last month,we saw a couple of the 208 boys go rocketing past and pull right around
the Whitby Abbey headland.

Guess who didn't have his camera ready though........

I'm involved with the Air Cadets in Worcester and 208 once flew one of our Cadets in a Hawk from Valley and did a low fly past over his school in Evesham after advising the school that they would be overhead at 1215Hrs.... 15 minutes after departing Valley. It had taken us over 3 hours to get to Valley by car!

Also, my boss was Grp Cpt Pat Kiggell.... a former Hunter pilot and I believe former boss of 208?

Hi Peter and good to hear from you.

I wonder if your squadron will be inviting you for a celebratory drink or two!

Nigel.

Nigel : this was more than 2 years ago, in July 2016. Peter seems to be absent without leave from this board, ( he last visited in March this year ) but I hope he will reappear at some stage , and like you , I send good wishes to him
