Classic British Flight Sim

I have suddenly developed a problem with the shiny bare metal textures of all my David Maltby's BAC-111 aircraft in fs9. They have all become dark. The best example would be the US Air BAC-111-200 N1127J it has gone quite dark for no apparent reason. Even other BAC-111s where the only shiny bare metal is on the engines, the engines have gone dark. Can anyone help me diagnose this? I have DXTBmp but am not too knowledgeable about how to use it.

Problem solved, I had Reflections disabled on the aircraft display settings.
