ORBX aftermath

In early December last year I thought I should try ORBX Global together with ORBX European open LC scenery on my relatively new FSX system. I already had installed FS Global 2010 mesh for FSX.
I have been learning to use ADE1.65 to build an RAF airfield in Nottinghamshire that I had started prior to installing ORBX sceneries. As my scenery building progressed I gained the impression that ORBX had installed a mesh on top of my FS Global 2010 mesh. Also I found that in FSX the area around the boundaries of my new airfield was far too wooded when compared to an OS map.
So despite the many attractive features of ORBX LC I decided to uninstall the whole of the ORBX LC scenery plus ORBX Global.
As others have experienced I found it a devilish task to track down and eliminate every ORBX file. I thought that I had succeeded but I have found a number of unwanted trees have appeared on a dispersal pan on my ADE 1.65 airfield. Such trees were not there previously and I have been unsuccessful in deleting them using ADE 1.65 and also in tracking down the origin of these rogue trees. Annoyingly they are on each side of a taxiway into a pan and I have tried, once again without success, to move the whole airfield a few yards so that the rogue trees appear to be just outside the airfield boundary.
During my attempts to uninstall ORBX I was surprised at the number of ORBX files that remained scattered throughout my FSX system in all sorts of places - could I have missed the odd file? Using the MS Windows 7 "search" I cannot now find any ORBX files on my computer but could they be there under another designation?
Any advice on how to solve this irritating problem would be appreciated.
