Lost submarine HMS Urge discovered

HMS Urge disappeared in the Mediterranean in 1942, and now she has been found. From the Daily Telegraph website:

Yes, I think they meant below the surface
No, I'm not familiar with the name either, but it's another little chapter being closed and the relatives now know where they lie.

Oh yes.. agree entirely. It's good for the relatives to know exactly where their loved ones are
I think it would have been better to describe the 'Urge' as ' discovered lying in 160ft of water' rather than 'discovered 160ft below sea'. Who the devil checks this stuff
I like the whole wartime 'buying' philosophy of the day. Many aircraft were bought this way but it's the first I've heard of a naval vessel being procured in the same fashion. You learn something new every day

Thanks very much for the link Paul.
It's nice that the crews families have a little closure. Wow, what a sad story. The good people of Bridgend must have felt a loss too when HMS Urge was lost. I'm sure the loss only strengthened their resolve to see the war through to final victory, but still...very sad.

Knowing nothing about scuba diving, is 160 feet too deep? I do hope so as these days nothing seems to command any respect to be left alone and undisturbed.

Reading that article, it seems that they are referring to the "is" (they don't deserve capital letters), and their habit of destroying any evidence of things created by people who don't subscribe to their way of thinking. Actually "thinking" is probably a gross exaggeration applied to such extremists, who would need to stop for a rape break before they reached the required depth. I'd better stop there
