Classic British Flight Sim

Back flight simming after a 12 year brake on Train Sim, hope this is in the correct forum.
I've installed Dvid Maltby's brilliant BAC 1-11 and enjoy flying the 200 and 400 version's. I also installed the 500 version and the panel however; the cockpit is fully textured but the VC panel and gauges are blacked out.
The 2D panel is fine but I like to have things working correctly.
Anyone have a similar problem.

The VC works fine in FSX so it should work ok in SE. As you have the babies working fine, it begs the question which 500 are you using? The basic 500's will use the standard 1-11 panel but the 510ED (ex BEA/BA) has a different panel and gauges.. http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/bac_1-11.htm

EDIT: I see from the title of your post that it's the 510ED you are using but I'm not sure if you are using the 510ED panel

OK.. all the 500's except the 510ED BEA/BA models will use the standard 1-11 panel.. the same one you're using with success in the 200/300 series. The 510ED uses it's own.. BEA panel which you have downloaded. I can't, at the moment, see why the VC's of your 200/300 series are working fine but not the 500 and the 510ED should work fine as you have the 510ED panel. I don't have them installed in FSX on this pc so give me a tic to download both panels so I can take a closer look for you

EDIT#2: I've just installed the 500 and 510 as per the instructions in the thread above and they both work fine mate

Read the topic:
Re-loaded the 510ED and the panel worked. However; I've now lost the 200\300\400 and 500 versions. Tried the FS9 method of the aircraft folder and that didn't solve the missing planes.
I think the 510ED will surfice for the time being but I think the 510ED panel is somehow blocking the appearance of the other versions.
Will keep you informed of any progress.

I made a point of checking the 500 and 510ED yesterday. I'll pull a couple of the babies in to see if they spoil things. Both the 500's were clean installs so nothing lurking from days of old. It will be the same for the little'uns too

Right.. let me get this right (I can't see what you said earlier as I've edited this post and it doesn't show what came before while editing) You installed the 500 and 510ED as per the post in the main forum and now you have the 500 and 510 working fine but.. you've lost the panel/vc for the little'uns I'm shooting in the dark here but it would seem that the alias in the 200/400 panel isn't pointing in the right place. It should look like this..

As I mentioned above.. there is only one panel/VC for the 200/400/475 and 500 (let's leave the 510 out of this) so if the 500 is working.. so should the others. You're close I'm sure

Riddle solved.
I'd inadvertently loaded the sound contents into the panel folder.
Full kit now in order.
