Cheers Sam. I knew it was coming soon but not when. Looks like another full download rather than a service pack but what the heck.. at least we'll know it's fully up to date

Low speed handling is definitely improved but I see no improvement with the vc going pink when changing view's which is disappointing as this is one of the fixes.

Just installed it, but I'm not absolutely positive it's the new SP2 version. The installer exe file is exactly the same size as the original one, and there's nothing in the manual like a change log. Is there anything obvious I should look for that confirms it's the SP2 release ? By the way, that VC is just gorgeous isn't it.
EDIT: Dave, I don't have a problem with pink VC when changing views - whats that all about ?

It's been too long since I've flown the model. Can't recall low speed handling ever being much of an issue but this one seems ok. I don't think it's the SP2 version. RAS_JF is looking into it as I type.. the server may not have updated.. he says
EDIT: Try and download again.. it should be there now. The server is busy mind

Just downloaded again, and still the same file size as the original I have from last year - 453,165 according to Windows Explorer, and in Properties- 442 MB (464,040,621 bytes) and size on disk 442 MB (464,044,032 bytes). It might mean something, it might mean nothing, but after the implementation of a service pack, one would expect the size to alter by a few bytes, surely. So, I'm still not sure I have the SP2 version. Is there anything obvious in the model itself that would confirm it ?

Paul, if you are not sure which version you have, check the timestamps of some of the new SP2 files: Canberra.gau, Canberra_PR9_VC.MDL, aircraft.cfg should be dated Jan 14, 2015.

Hi Henk, and thanks
The files you mentioned were not date stamped as you indicated they should be. So, I've just downloaded again ( the third time today ) and whereas before the file name was JF_CanberraPR9.exe, it is now JF_CanberraPR9_
SP2.exe. So, it looks like the server has now been updated with the new version.
It might have been a good idea for JF to have ensured this was the case
before sending out the 'Update is here ' emails.
EDIT: Just installed it, and the date stamps are now correct. Thanks again

Just out for a test flight at the moment, and enjoying it a LOT. I've got it trimmed to perfection at 256 knots, at 6200 ft. Rock steady! Razbam take note !
