Looking for an .eml to .txt batch converter

Hello Chaps. :)

I have saved a load of emails in .eml format which I'd like to batch convert into .txt documents. Does anyone know of a free utility ? I know I could open each email, and copy and paste the contents into a Notepad and save it as a .txt ducument - the trouble is, there are 261 of them ! I've searched the web, and there are such utilities available, but they are payware, and I only need it for this lot of 261.

Alternatively, is there a Windows trick to doing it ?

Any help gratefully received.

Hi Paul,

I had a utility to convert from PST to EML and back, but not to txt. Don't know if that would be any use?

I've had a look round for that sort of thing, Ben, but it doesn't quite do what I want. I've grabbed a few demo progs but they want Outlook Express installed first, or they require some kind of runtime installed. Blech !
Anyway I've changed the default program for .eml files from Outook to Notepad, which at least eliminates the cut and paste palaver, but it means going through them one by one and saving them in .txt format. Ah well, I hadn't got anything planned for the rest of the week anyway.

Thanks for your help. :)
