Inspired by Mr B, I thought I'd have a crack at a He111 formation as well, but from a different angle. ;)

Nice one Dave

I was going to spend some time doing another flight with Spits flying to meet them to make the story complete and now it is  I don't think I have the JF Spit.. I may have at one time but I don't now. My memory of the one I had wasn't favourable but it was FS9 and a long time ago. From what I can see of the cockpit in those shots.. it looks like a different model. Still using the RealAir model which works well with AirTrafficFX and has a dedicated AI model. Sadly.. the main model skins don't fit the AI model.. a major drawback but the full model isn't that high on poly's :)

The ailerons on the JF model look fine in the air but look like they've let go on the shot of it on the deck *-)

Cheers Dave. Only re-installed the JF Spit yesterday. Didn't seem half as bad as I remembered either  The RA Spit IX is normally my Spitfire of choice too, but fancied something different this time.
Not sure what happened to the ailerons in that last pic *-) Think one was up and one down as I made a pigs ear out of the landing and it's the just the way the light caught it.

Those screenshots are stupendously brilliant! :-O

Suitably gobsmacked

Did you edit the shots or does it look like that in your sim?

Great pictures Dave. Thats a lovely Spitfire. I'm not too sure about the cloud reflections in P3D however. I've turned them off because they are simply too visible. I can't ever remember seeing such clear reflections on the sea, and of course deselecting them saves me FPS. ;)
