Dave Garwood's Anson on the BBC!

Hi all! Link to rather a nice story on the Beeb website...

I'm pretty sure that's Dave Garwood's old Annie there, idling away in the background...
Mr Wilson Taylor seems like a very nice old Gent; he certainly proves that it doesn't do any harm to badger Her Majesty once you reach a certain age!
Cheers,
Nick

Cheers Dave - and sorry - didn't realise I needed administrator approval to correct my crummy spelling! Actually, I'd better not post here too often: I quite like being a 'Chipmunk'!

A great storey and an incredible gentleman. I hope I'm that good (and still simming) when I'm 89.
It would be wonderful if he were to join our forum.
Cheers
Kevin

Good for Mr. Taylor! I am glad he wrote to the Queen and finally got what he deserved.

What a wonderful thing to have happened. I'll be going to bed tonight with a smile on my face, and heart.
Well Done Mr. Taylor.
...
And Congrats to Dave G. for his work being put to a very worthwhile purpose.

Always nice to see a good news story, and there's no such thing as bad publicity.
Congratulations to
all involved.
