DM's BAC 1-11 on Rickoooo

Gentlemen,
just some questions on behalf of simFlight.de:
We found a release of David Maltby's wonderfull BAC 1-11-package in a complete installer at Rickoooo. Is this package legal, and has it been created under permission of David? Here is the link:
http://www.rikoooo.com/en/downloads/summary/51/738
And was there any development on this product? It is offered as complete package for FS9, FSX, and P3Dv1/2.
Kind regards from the continent,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
Thanks for dropping by. These haven't been authorised and are in breach of the copywrite. There is another thread here which has just started this morning...

You will also find a lot of Dave Maltby's aircraft & most of mine on fs2000.org! On mine the description is lifted direct from FlightSim!

Hello all,
I would like to make public apologies for having published the BAC-11 and the Comet without the permission of David Maltby. Both file files have been unpublished by the time i'm writing here.
First of all I have to say that I'm surprised that nobody told me that I had no permission until I discover it my self today...
I actually thought that I could upload these files because I've misunderstood the readme file, I understood that way :
Repaints and the model can be uploaded to any internet site that makes it available free of charge, as long as David Maltby is credited for the original model.
Instead of :
Repaints of the model can be uploaded to any internet site that makes it available free of charge, as long as David Maltby is credited for the original model.
Please excuse me for this mistake, english is not my native language taught.
Beside this, when I've checked the
http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/ I have seen there was no news since 2009; I thaught the project was abandoned (5 years without a single news) I told my self it would be nice to give a second life for those beauteful addons, it would make a lot of people happy, trust me I'm not a "thief" and I would not come here if I was.
I've spent many hours to pack and fix some little bugs for the P3D version (yes it's compatible) and I think it's a shame to remove these packs from Rikoooo, I know my opinion doesn't matter but still, this time I'm asking for permission. May I have your permission to re-publish the Comet and the Bac ? David ?
Whatever your answer is, again I'm very sorry and of course it will never happen again.
Keep up the great work.
Thank you
Erik - Admin Rikoooo

DM hasn't made anything new since then hence no new news but I see where you're coming from. You must also take into consideration that if was abandoned.. his site wouldn't be there. No one would continue to fund a website they have absolutely no interest in
Thanks for popping here to give an explanation Erik

DM does drop by every now and again and I'm sure he'll respond when he reads this

Thank you for your reaction people.
Well scorpius, the Argosy is online on my website since almost
10 years ! Is there any problem with it ? I must have permission for it no doubt, but 10 years ago I was not responsible for add-ons It was someone else cause I was living in Australia and Rikoooo was a very litle website. So I must contact him to ask if he still has the email message with permission......
By the way, I got permission from Robert Richardson, I just forgot that he gave it to me 4 years ago, below is a proof :
Hello Robert Richardson,
Thank you for your message,
No problem, we will remove your freewares from Rikoooo.com within 48h.

Thank you for the email, I had forgotten that I gave permission for the inclusion of the Vampire on your site.
I would be very grateful If you could remove all my Flightsim models from your site.
I now have my own website and can keep all models updated when needed.
I'm really not looking to reach vast numbers of people.
Regards
Robert Richardson

Hello Erik,
Thank you for your interest in my DH Vampire, you have my permission to include it in your download section.
I have also just finished work on a Twin Pioneer, available at BritSim, should you be interested.
My present project is a AW Meteor NF 14 but that will not be ready for a few months.

Thank you,
Best regards
