Are there any WWII era airfields available that are compatible with FSX/GenX? I've seen a couple by SDB but there's no mention of GenX in the blurb

I just bought the Martlet in the JF Bank Holiday sale, along with the DC-6B! Yet to install them tho...

Yes.. that's where I got this one from. Didn't want to pay full whack for it so sat tight until a sale came along. It's not bad.. of its day if you will and fair value for a fiver I was a bit stuck what to get with it. No way was I going to get the DC3.. Manfreds is more than adequate. Been interested in what Vertigo have to offer.. especially as JF recently added them to their portfolio so plumped for the PT-17. To be honest.. I'm disappointed even at a fiver. Full retail for this is ridiculously high given what you get from Alabeo for what.. £13. The Alabeo products are superior in every way.
Download is listed as 600+mb.. I wondered what I was getting for this. In the event, I downloaded the 'normal' res version. The HD versions textures are 25mb a shot (normal res is 2048 so half that) and having found a couple.. I honestly can't see the difference. Undoubtedly, much of the 600+mb for the HD download is taken by the textures. Blurb states PK and 16 textures. Having downloaded the model and read the blurb, all the textures not in the download are available at Vertigo's site. I'm not on the FS pc at the mo but I think you get 8 paints across 2 models. The manual states there are 4 available at Vertigo (there are 3) so what's happened to the rest. I then read that Vertigo are closing their doors unless they can find someone to code for them (this was last year) although they still offer support. No sign of the PK either. I really want an Avenger but on the strength of what I've seen with the PT-17.. I won't be getting their version.. unless it appears in a sale.. for a fiver.
