JF Lightning - who wanted it?

I could swear I read a post yesterday, by someone asking about the JF Lightning and if it was any good, but I can't find it anywhere now.

In any case, for this weekend you can buy it for a mere ten quid. Use the 'code' "WEEKEND" in the discount box.

Hurry along, now! ;)

It was hidden inside the JF Razbam sale thread.

BTW JD.. I hope you don't get a virus ;)

Graham.. I think you'll be suitably pleased with it. It's more 'old school' than some of the more modern stuff so you don't need to spend a fortnight learning the manual (though of course, you can if you so wish). Fire it up and fly.. nothing could be more simple :cpu:

The nav's are a bit wild so I edited the model and added some more petite ones but other than that.. it's good to go straight out of the box. If you don't use a throttle quad, you won't notice that the engine animations are linked to the wrong engines.. eg, open throttle 1 and you see engine 2's rear bits moving. I don't have one anymore so it doesn't bother me in the slightest. ;)

I've been waiting for this one! Duly bought and took it for a run in P3D v2.1 - works well, no obvious issues except I couldn't find the panel light switch. I do like these JF weekend sales.

Regards,
Chris
