Missing Addons in FSX

Hi Troops :)

I've just noticed the Addons tab at the top of the page in FSX has gone. Any ideas?? :dunno:

The only thing I've done different on this pc recently is try out a new Canberra_Flight Analysis tool George emailed me (which didn't work incidentally). Now.. I have no FSUIPC, Instant Scenery or Canberra 'bits' access 8)

sounds like your dll.xml file has got messed up. It should be in the same folder as the fsx.cfg. If it's not formatted correctly, then add-ons like fsuipc won't load.
If you post it here, I can take a look at it for you.

Cheers Dave :)

Funny you mention dll's.. I notice there's a new one in there for the Razbam Corsair. Hope this hasn't burglered the other ones up :worried:

Just had a look and it's dated the same as the Razbam Corsair file..

Yep, you've got an extra </Launch.Addon> near the end. Remove that, but make sure you keep the </SimBase.Document> bit at the end. You can remove the blank lines too if you like.

Co-incidentally, I just saw a post over on the A2A forums where someone had trouble with Accu-feel not working. It turns out he had exactly the same problem as you, and he'd just installed the Razbam A7, which I think you've just got.

Hello Mate :hello:

Yes indeed.. the A7 was the last model installed. I thought it odd looking at the dll that the AV8 is there but the A7 isn't although there are individual dll's for both in FSX. *-) Accu-Feel was of course the other Add-on I couldn't use. Obviously something in the A7 installer

Thanks for that mate. Works a treat again now
