As you all know the Malta Airshow is next month and im going to take XX919 over there. How ever im just wondering did they ever take the RAF 111s over seas or did they just fly around UK Airspace.

Thing is, they weren't RAF but originally RAE and as such were test vehicles. They didn't seem to travel much and I don't recall seeing any reports of overseas trips.

It may have happened but I don't see why they should given they nature of their work.

Even appearances at UK shows seemed rare *-)

Thanks for the info Garry I have seen a photo of ZE432 at emmen air base in Switzerland. Looks like when I take 919 to Malta it could be her first trip over seas. Actually just by looking up ZE432 on Google images seems to reveal that she has been over seas to Toulouse in France.

The DRA 1-11 definitely visited the med in her life, I've seen photos of her in either Malta or Cyprus (can't recall which)
