Can any member tell me the "r, b, g" values needed to produce a transparent canopy using the Windows Paint program in FS9?

Hi James
The transparency is set my the part material and the value of the alpha in the texture.
The texture value is set in relation to the material so varies a lot form model to model.

Oh Calamity!! Oh Calamity!! (Robson Hare?)
I have been adjusting an Hercules panel and needed to change a quarterlight(?) just to the left of the captain's seat from solid black to transparent. Even dipping into the windscreen which shows black but is seen as transparent, and then erasing the offending part before painting "windscreen black" did not work. I shall just have to put up with an obscured forward and downward looking window - Crew Chiefs beware!

Hi James
Though Garry has told you the 100% correct facts, as usual, there was another tiny thing that caused trouble with transparencies in the older FS; the top left pixel had to be the right colour. If you've done some repainting of the surrounding bodywork, you may have turned a previously R=0 G=0 B=0 pixel into something else. Might be worth checking.
