Gentlemen,

Business Jet Access will be organising a final enthusiast flight on N999BW in October this year - so if you can make it to Dallas... ;)

Then, please pay some attention to the other ongoing plans to celebrate the 1-11's 50th anniversary here...

The more attention the better!
Even if Peter keeps mystifying the future of ZH763...

Best wishes, :)

Nick

PS
Talking 1-11 ... some interesting Southend pics from the early nineties have recently been added to Airliners.net

Just to keep this thread up to date -
the flight has been cancelled due to the aircraft having been withdrawn from service for a "long period of time" pending the supply of spare parts.
Looks like N999BW isn't going to fly again... :(( ...sad, though that day was foreseeable.

Best wishes,

Nick

Unfortunately the announcement came last week. Such a pity, I wouldn't have made it myself but it would have been a wonderful opportunity for enthusiasts to make one last flight on her. I have flown on Aer Lingus and Ryanair One-Elevens in the past. It least it does look like Northrop Grumman's aircraft will make the 50th anniversary in service later in the year.
