It looks like the RealAir Spitfire Tom.. available in both FS9 and FSX flavours but payware ;)

Pity about the lack of shadows Ted. I've become obsessed with the bloody things :wall: Nice shot though and typical of what you'd see at Flying Legends ;)

Yes it's the Real Air Spitfire. Probably the best Spitfire available in the later marks. With a free re-paint of the BBMF PR Spit.
Hadn't noticed the lack of shadows. Must be a scenery thing as the Spit has a shadow.
Perhaps they are the ghosts of Duxford?
BTW I'm sure you can see Charlie Brown with his back to you somewhere in that scenery.
Must be looking for his Spitfire.

Re the shadows Ted.. I've not seen any FS modelled bods casting a shadow.. I don't think there are any. As for the statics (those fire trucks in the back ground).. the shadow has to be included in the model. Older statics don't have shadows but new ones do. Old Warden brought this to my attention. I didn't like the default Cub (et-al) from UK2K being there so removed them and started adding my own. It's only then I found what had been looking odd for years.. statics without shadows! It's haunted me ever since

I've found in fsx that if you have ground objects cast shadows selected to on in the options/display/scenery then most static objects do gain shadows but be careful of the adverse affect this can have on fps.

That may well be something I've had ticked off Brian as my system is 'Borderline' in FSX. I'll have a look next time I'm in ;)
