One very last question or rather 2 and will hopefully not ask any more unless...........!!
If one needs to for any reason uninstall ORBX England I have looked around in add/remove programmes and also in FSX but have not seen an uninstall feature for this software....is there one and if not how do you uninstall it? Secondly I have a habit of forgetting simple instructions for it is written
Important you must set FTX Central to Europe before applying this patch that is the EU ENG.001.....well, I didn't

would the patch have installed elsewhere and / or do I re-install it again?
Sorry to be a pain.
Regards
Nigel.

Hi Nigel, as I understand it just try the install again but this time with FTX Central set to EU. If you have no joy I can put your question to the folks over on the Orbx forum if you wish?
Regards,
Chris

Hi Nigel. FTX Support forum. FAQs No.1. Uninstalling EU Regions!
In case you're at work and can't get access, here are the magic words:
I'll use WLS as an example
FIRST set FTXCentral to [Default]
1 - Browse to FSX\ORBX\FTX_EU
- Delete the 4 x WLS titled folders:
FTX_EU_WLS_05_SCENERY
FTX_EU_WLS_06_CVX
FTX_EU_WLS_07_MESH
FTX_EU_WLS_08_CUSTOM
2 - Browse to FSX\ORBX\Scripts
- Delete scenerylib_EU_WLS
- Run FTXconfigurator.exe (silent operation, it removes the scenery library entries)
3 - Browse to FSX\Scenery\World\Scenery
- Delete all the "WLS" titled files
Use the same guide to delete any Europe FTX regions

Hi Chris
If you can post this question of the Forum that would be helpful even if only for future info as I cannot access the Forum from here!!
Hi Ian, have copied that info you kindly supplied, thank you very much.
Kind regards
Nigel.

The only sure way is to remove the hard drive from your PC & microwave it on full power for at least a week, then bury it in soft peat for 3 months.
