Tried this yesterday

http://www.getidisplay.com/

and it works a treat as a dual screen for your tablet.
Running FSX in window mode allows you to undock windows, i.e. the GPS, and display it on your tablet.
Just drag window off the right side of the screen to display on tablet.
Tablet retains mouse input and all touch screen features.
It made my Nvidia drivers crash at one point, so looking for a patch, but when working it works fine.
The app costs £3.20.

I tried a similar one called Air Display a few months back. http://avatron.com/apps/air-display. It worked fine as a second monitor for static things like check lists but wasn't very good with moving stuff (as in gauges, gps etc.). Also running in Windowed mode costs me quite a few fps so I only used it a couple of times.

The Remote Flight Apps which are designed to work with FS, are (in my opinion) absolutely superb - if a bit more expensive :worried: Have I mentioned them before? https://www.remoteflight.net/

Once the virtual server has connected I switch to fullscreen mode and any or all of the apps connect to it. Thanks for the heads up, though. The RF Apps are only for Apple so iDisplay could be a solution for users of Android tablets.

I tried both AirDisplay and iDisplay on my android tablet, but neither would work with FSX, although both worked fine for other apps. FSX complained that the video card didn't meet minimum specs & wouldn't start. There are probably ways around this but I couldn't be bothered to mess around too much.
