Just picked up an email from Earthsim saying they're cutting some of their DVD stocks so to get rid.. they're offering them at 50% discount. I've just bagged GenX vol6 with Treescapes. I explain it to the wife when it arrives Also included are their downloads as not all products are on DVD. The sale lasts for 2 weeks so nip over there now and bag a bargain

Just bought the SE England & Wales VFR Airports including Northolt,which was sold out during the earlier sale.
Must get around to intstalling that swag of disks which I bought months back!

Finally got around to getting Guernsey, & picked up Shawbury as well

Good luck with Shawbury mate. The destructions say you need a top flight system to enjoy all it's bits and bobs and I can confirm you need rather more than I have I can get around a lot of it without hassle but some areas are no-goes. There's a power station shown on the map west of Cosford so I set off to go and have a look. I managed to get there but my pc died soon after It's lovely scenery though as is Guernsey.. another area I can't really say runs well. It runs but not well.

Shawbury runs better than Guernsey for me. I can usually get 30+fps around Shawbury with all the scenery sliders far right except water, & AI at 30%. Depends what I'm flying though.
Guernsey knocks it back to around 20-25 around the airport and a bit higher elsewhere.

Yes.. Shawbury is an odd one. Around certain areas, I run just fine where around Guernsey.. I have trouble most places when pointing toward the airfield. Have you tried taking off from Cosford and heading west to that power station yet? Just before I got to the station, my trees started to spike and I knew I was in for a rough ride Just about everywhere else.. I'm ok.. especially if the model I'm in isn't too frame hungry. I've taken off from Wolverhampton and visited the more northern POI all the way down to Welshpool then picked up the GenX demo area around to Anglesey. A nice little run with pretty much full autogen/houses/buildings for the duration

Yep, found the power plant. Saw it had two smoke stacks, & realised I'd still got the station from the FSX Power Projects showing as well. Lot of AG around that area

Good scenery though innit. Just wish I could enjoy it a bit more.. well.. enjoy it fullstop
