That looks nice! At least you've been doing something creative. I fired up FS at lunchtime and then spent two hours watching AI at Heathrow Extreme
Then I spent the rest of the day catching up with Sky+ and drinking Australian Cabernet Merlot
So well done for creating something artistic! Good work, mate!

It's very easy to get engrossed in AI and frustrating because of the time you have to waste. Turn up bang on time and they'll have gone or already arrived so you have to turn up suitably early and hope you can use the sim speed function without naffing it all up. Very rewarding when it all works but jeeze.. it's some kinda process to make sure it's where you want it to be
Creative.. yes, I guess it's been creative but you'd not imagine for one moment an all red helicopter has taken a day away from me would you.. well, most of it anyway. It's become a flying test bed.. I have a config entry setup as test and a matching texture folder where all the work goes without moving out into the big wide world on it's own where I hope I've not missed anything

2 hours gone just to get the skid legs how I want them (all 1 colour is easy.. that's the way they come) and I've just spent the best part of an hour working on a tiny bit of map which the upper aerials, lower blade aerials and the boom grab handles use trying to find a cut-off point twixt all three. If there is one, I can't find it. I know how far I can paint into it without touching the blade AE's and the grab handles (the roof AE's get progressively the colour I add) but the handles.. the bit I really want.. sit's somewhere in the middle. It's impossible I reckon so I'm gonna give up
I even thought of doing a Speedbird paint for it this afternoon.. nah.. I don't think so

I love the idea of a CBFS branded helicopter. We all use them for inspecting airports and scenery so it would be great to have a branded one and I love that design
I should have bought a Nemeth when they were on sale but I didn't know you were going to do that, did I? Now you'll have to do a paint for the default Bell
No hurry...

I love it! It's totally gorgeous. Thank you so much, Dave
I'll take her up this afternoon on a tour of some of my properties. What a lovely colour, too - it matches the memsahib's MX-5.
I promise to refrain from teasing or insulting you for at least two weeks

Tease and insult away mate

It IS a rather jolly colour isn't it. I wanted to get the same effect with my EC135 but didn't manage it. May look at the alphas again
Anyhoo.. GOOF has been busy already this morning inspecting newly installed ODG rigs..
I do like the default Bell 206 despite it looking a bit rough when you get close in. It flies well.. doesn't look half bad.. what more could one ask for

Yes, the Bell's not demanding at all. I might get the EC next time Nemeth have a sale as that's a nice looking machine but I don't feel like paying full price for a goofer
So here we are, all set up and the first flight is to fly the flag at LHR - there's already a lot of flag waving at T5, still you can't have too much can you? Then I popped over to inspect the AI at Anchorage and brightened up a rather dull day for them. One thing missing, though - Dave could you let me have the Shockwave lights config that you're using, please? It's a definite improvement!
Thank you
Ian
