Ok not everyone's cup of tea i grant you but its more a sim than a game and i found the graphics are very good from what i have seen,

I saw Neil land this Lem on the moon live, he definitely was "the best pilot you have ever seen"!! IMHO

Didn't watch it all Rog but it doesn't look bad. A variation from the rigours of FSX/FS9. Let us know how you get on with it

Well Dave i have not got it yet as bought the Virtavia BN-2 Islander today so i have spent my pocket money for the month! but i will try it out next week for that price!

The Islander is ok. I find the textures don't redraw on the outside as fast as I'd like but otherwise, it's not a bad model. Spent a bit of time in it doing my trip around Scotland last week

I would certainly agree with that Roger...I also watched it live and that final approach when he had to take control under extreme pressure was the most masterful piece of piloting that I have ever seen

He did it so matter of factly as well.

Cool as can be, he just took control and did the necessary,

I guess that was the quality they saw for him to be the right man.

As an aside, I was looking up the Apollo crews the other day.

Some are no longer with us, the others are in their late seventies and early eighties.

Never thought of them as old men

Neil Armstrong was good, but I think Lovell was better and more experienced, just a pity he never got his moon landing.
