Helicopter Blade Slap sound

Just found a neat sound file pack to add 'Blade Slap' to most helicopters over on Hovercontrol. The effect is a gauge the gives a charicteristic sound inside the helicopter only when making sharp turns and when landing. It is a hefty download at 60meg or so but there are simple instructions in the pack to add this sound effect to most helicopters from 2-bladers upwards.
The file is called BladeSlapSND-FSX-10.zip

Certainly adds to the effect

Nice one Brian.. I tend to fly helicopters more than any other type in FSX :)

Dave I've used this for a while now and it's greatly enhanced the realism factor of copter flying for me.

Ah.. yet another Brian :hello: Thanks for that mate.. I'll pull it next time I'm on the flying pc ;)

EDIT: Yup.. not a bad effect. Pity the outside effect has been jobbied as I do a lot of goofing from 'Spot' but it's worth the effort ;)

Talking of helo's.. any thoughts on tweaking the Wessex to stop the rotors disappearing in FSX? That's all it needs really :)

Ah, yes - the great Wessex model, one of my fave helicopters in FS. I have a minor request there.

It would be nice to have the config tweaked a bit to reflect a heavier carrying capability. I often run rotor-only companies in Air Hauler and I was very disappointed to find that this Wessex wasn't worth the cost of buying due to how tiny (in comparison to others and to what I'm sure it should) the cargo carrying capability was (663lbs total including crew etc).

I adjusted the figures myself a bit, with reference to Wiki data - but it would be nice to have it done by someone who could balance it all up :)

ps - anyone know any way to add the hook load limit to that as well?
