FSX & Track IR

Hello from the 
Wondering whether any-one can advise. Have Track IR and when using in FS9 I am able to fly from the right hand seat using it with no problem but..........in FSX I have to pause it i.e. so there is no head movement then plonk meself into the co-pilots seat using view command - eye view right or what ever it is called - now happily sat in the co-pilots position I hit the pause button to 'off' to use Track IR and immediately I am thrown back into the left hand seat
Does not matter which a/c I am in the same happens, also unable to move to the right when Track IR head movement is on.
Any ideas? Using Track IR V software although I have Track IR IV
