Just a heads up chaps, they've put the patch versions up on the Amazon Cloud infrastructure now and the downloads from this area are stable and comparatively quick

Been waiting for my 'verification' for a few days now

Don't know how long it normally takes, but I do know that I'm not going to download the full 4.5-ish GB worth when an upgrade patch is available. Seems daft.

Hi chaps, downloaded today from the amazon cloud. The upgrade was just under 4 GB. Very good indeed, much quicker than before at installing the weather. Flew from Newcastle to IOM in the RJ70, weather injection worked perfectly, including pressure which now updates correctly.

I have Rex Essentials, Build 3.0.2012.0522.

How do I get to Rex Essentials Plus + Over drive ?

Is it one single upgrade i.e. from 'Rex Essentials' to 'Rex Essentials Plus + Overdrive'

Or

Is it two upgrades...upgrade from 'Rex Essentials' to 'Rex Essentials Plus' followed by second upgrade from 'Rex Essentials Plus' to 'Rex Essentials Plus + Overdrive' ?

It's not you, Paul I've just been over at the ORBX forum and not one of the posters understand what all the different bits are and how they fit together

Like I said - I didn't even understand the basic program. I just leave it alone and enjoy the textures. I did try reading the manual but didn't have the patience to try and understand it. Perhaps I'll have another go when I retire.

Meanwhile, I'll put the upgrade on the back burner for a while until the dust settles

Well I downloaded from the links at this page, as it specifies Rex Essentials, Build 3.0.2012.0522...which is what I have.

Have they missed out a rather crucial + symbol ? i.e. REX ESSENTIAL PLUS + OVERDRIVE BUILD ? Does the word PLUS mean the symbol ? Or is the word Plus the word, and the symbol for plus has been omitted ?

Forget the product...someone needs to beta test the instructions.
