Nice shots Roger The 'Rock' is looking rather more tropical than it should but that's not your doing. Not been down there for a while and to be honest, I don't remember seeing it that green in sim. I guess it must be though 'cause I don't have any addon's for it in FSX.

Incidentally (and off topic I'm afraid).. I DID drag the Navy Lynx back into FSX again yesterday. I've taken all the gauges out so I don't have a conflict I use shift+Z to see my speed and the only other gauge I ever use is a VSI (in a chopper). It'll do for now but I'll be sure to add your gauge fix to it IDC

Good to see the Wessie in there too.

One of my earliest memories in life is sitting on the Rock in 1978 and watching the Ark steam off into the Med on her "Last Farewell" with my old man on board approximately two days after my profile photo was taken.

I finally took the plunge and purchased the Just Flight Gib scenery the other week, highly recommended IMHO.

Here in the South, Pentridge Prison, [now a block of fancy flats for the well to do], was known by the same name.

I note that we never considered "icks"* to be a problem, so never trained in killing them like you did.

*until recent years when David Hicks was entertained by the US anti-terrorist folks.

Well this is embarrassing. I thought the pic was a pic of a young Fraser in the cab of a Class 47 locomotive.

Ah, Brian....
Well, that just shows how much I don't know. I didn't even know they had Class 47 locos on Gibralta.
I also need to report that I saw a spoiler on the back of a ute, and I don't know what possible use it would serve. I tried to open a beer bottle with it, but it just took a chunk out of the fibreglass.
Ignorance is bliss, therefore I am happy.



EDIT: Roger, this is the second screen shot I've seen of a member flying a helicopter the right way up. The last explanation I received was that the realism has to be set to EASY. Is that what you do? Or are you supremely skilled?

Well i like to think i'm a skilled Helecopter pilot!

I must say that i found FSX a lot better to fly them in than FS2004,

i don't know if you like to fly them Mike but if you do then this article will help but i don't know if the same settings apply to FSX and if you are new to Hele's look in the Library at HoverControl for the Helecopter Hud this was made by Steve Hanley and when i started flying Hele's in 2004 and it was a really great help,

Its like i remember a real Hele pilot saying that to fly one you need to stand on one leg/rub the top of your head with one hand while rubbing your tum with the other hand "With Your Eyes Shut!"!
