Got a couple of emails from EarthSimulations this morning stating they have a mega sale on (up to 50%) for one week only. It might be a good opportunity to nip over and get those bits you wanted but couldn't afford

Only trouble is, Southern England VFR Airports sold out unless you buy the bundle, which is only 25% off and doesn't include all the trees. Picky, ain't I?

You have to be picky mate I've not looked at the detail as there's nowt I want but it's often the case with 'sales' that there's more to it than meets the eye. 25% off isn't bad but it's not 50% is it.

I want to get Guernsey, but I've been waiting for the dvd version. I think it's been 'coming soon' for about 2 years now

Ah.. now that's a long time! I was brave (nay, foolish) and downloaded it while at the pub on 2mb BB. It took a tad over 5hrs to come down Thank goodness I was on unlimited download there

You should be ok on your rocket ship mate but GUE kicks my E8400 around a bit. Smashing bit of scenery though Isn't it about time JER was released?

Please enlighten me, Dave - what's the importance of a DVD version? They are offering a boxed CD or download for Guernsey. About a quid the difference IIRC.

Simply that my poor old "broadband" will take ages to download it otherwise

Also, I'm not a big fan of the downloader/installer they use.

Please read again - they are offering a CD version (for 12 pounds fifty) why do you specifically want a DVD - surely it would not be better than a CD?

Thanks for the HU but had a quick ponder and nothing got my card out...

Sadly i dont like photoscenery always looks flat where i have GEX which has all the roads and river etc nicely done so i can follow the roads as they are in RL.
