Cascade were based at Spokane, Washington and served destinations in Washington state, Oregon and Idaho as well as Salt Lake City; Butte, Montana and Calgary, Alberta. They didn't fly to Alaska, unfortunately but that hardly precludes a visit.

Cascade had up to five One-Elevens in their fleet, including three Series 200's and two Series 400's. They went bust in 1986 and the aircraft were sold on to Florida Express.
Nice screenshots, too.

Silver City never operated Superfreighters to Pakistan but G-AMWA was logged there on an Air Pictorial movement at Karachi

...
QANTAS never flew the Boeing 747SP to Europe, but one passed through London on a round the World charter
So, indeed a special tour charter of Alaska

Thanks, guys. Spokane is perfect as my ORBX scenery covers a good part of the Pacific North West and I'll be able to fly her around most of her route network. With occasional charters to Alaska, naturally. I'm very happy with that arrangement. And it means I won't get evicted from the forum for flying too many American classics
DM's 1-11 has always been my favourite sim aircraft to fly so I'm very pleased that it works in P3D. Thanks for that livery, Garry, it's very smart

I've been checking out Spokane as my 1-11 base in the North West and it falls just outside the ORBX Pacific North West scenery eastern boundary. So that means I've now got to save up for ORBX Northern Rocky Mountains to extend my 'area of operations'. It's not cheap, this ORBX stuff so I'll probably have to send the present Mrs Speedbird out on the streets to raise some cash

Problem is, the last time I did that some bum offered her a five pound note. Luckily she had change

boom boom!
But the good news is that I see Fairchild AFB is near Spokane so it also gives me a base for my Captain Sim B 52s. Whoo hoo!

But YOU, my dear friend, set an impossibly high standard for justification
We amateurs can only dream of accumulating the toys that you own and still remain in a loving relationship!

I thank you for those kind words
Deceit, deception.. call it what you will. As long as she knows
some of what's going on.. she's happy. She may not be so understanding if she knew the WHOLE story though
Anyhoo.. all that stops now. I start work on Monday and can't afford for stuff to be on the doorstep when she gets home before me
