This is true

A few days ago my 11 year old niece asked her teacher if she could get in trouble for something she hadn't done.

The teacher assured her that wouldn't happen and asked he why she wanted to know *-)

"It's because I haven't done my homework" was the swift reply

   lovely!

I'd like to think it was innocence, but as she's a trainee woman she's probably already learning to be 'clever' like wot us boys never got taught and why women are always cleverer than us. :(

When my stepson was 7 he said 'I don't think I need to go to school any more'. 'Oh, why's that?' 'I can't think of anything else that I don't know.' He wasn't being clever, though. He was being stupid!

Ian :)

Aaah,
Your niece comes from a famous family Garry!
I remember seeing your initials on a huge number of pillar boxes when I lived in the UK.
They had a little crown on top, I suppose that's due to your interest in the Air Ministry.
