Dublin RWY28 ILS

Hi Troops..
I'm talking FS9 here..
Did a flight to Dublin today and IAW the prevailing winds, chose Dublin's rwy28 for landing and subsequent takeoff. The horizontal beam was active but the vertical stayed centred/inactive. Anyone else with FS9 found this or do I have a corrupt file? Can't remember it happening before but I don't fly there very often and usually use FSNav/Mk1 eyeball anyway.
If someone could have a quick check for me, I'd appreciate it. Plenty of PC's here but sadly, only one with FS (of any sort) available these days.

Well it should be a CATIII ILS/DME on 108.90 for RW28 Ident IDW, and the same but CATII for RW10 on the same frequency but Ident IDE.

Hi Peter
Yes indeed mate. I've tried the same approach on that freq using the QW 146/RJ, the default Cessna and a few mins ago, with DM's 1-11 and they all tell the same story. More obvious on the 1-11 is the GS flag! When I get to the ILS hut (LH side of the rwy toward the end of 28/begining of 10, the GS becomes active. Approaching on rwy10.. the GS is active until you hit the keys and pass the ILS hut (now on the right) when the GS flag appears and stays on. Odd.. very odd

Hi Eric
Tks for that mate.. much appreciated

I've recently put Eiresim's Dublin Airport on as the default is rubbish (aren't they all!!). Wonder if the problem is with that

One way to find out I suppose.. disable it
Tks again for checking

Issue sorted chaps
I'd not updated FSNav's database so was still getting 108.9 showing for rwy 28 (default scenery data). The freq for rwy 28 should be 111.35 and I've confirmed this with the IAA listing for Dublin. The Eiresim scenery is correct.. the default scenery isn't (though if you only use the default, it's as correct as it needs to be)

Rwy 10 is still 108.9

Peter, how is this achieved? I still have the default EIDW but if I update it I will make a note of the new frequency on my charts etc.Best Wishes EricT

Hi Guy's..
I don't know when the change came to 28.. the afcad for the Eiresim scenery has both listed though 108.9 does not have GS ticked. It's accurate though

I really should rebuild the database for FSNav but I have so much in there now, I fear a duff rebuild which has happened before. I didn't expect an ILS freq to change so thought nothing of it.. serves me right
Eric.. if you open EIDW in afcad.. select Lists/Navaids then highlight the line 28 LOC+GP+DME e t c.. double click on that line and a new page ILS Properties will open. Simply change the freq in the box to 111.35 and save.. remembering of course to note the change
