Some Classic Brits at the "Chino Planes of Fame"

Dear All,

I thought some here may be interested in some shots from this weekends "Planes of Fame" show at Chino California.

After growing up going to the Culdrose airday each year as a kid and having to shelter from the extreme Cornish elements of wind and rain I am still trying to get used to the notion of needing extreme sun block for airshows.... It also made for some very harsh light to photograph in unfortunately.

It was a treat to see the USAF heritage flight Phantom too, would have looked better with an Omega sign on the tail....

Anyhow some pics here for those who may be interested...

Great shots! But let's be honest, the Spit you posted two photos of doesn't have much in it that is British. It is a Jurca MJ-100 replica with an Allison engine. See here for more photos: http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.s ... rch=N1940K
