My thoughts too, they must have a lacklustre bunch of young officers on-board if that's the best they could make. Mind you when I had to furnish a fountain on the fight deck for the cocktail party we cheated and acquired a playmobil pirate ship...

Oh they generally take place after the cocktail party, some ambassadors just don't like you hitting on their wives/daughters...
