Ah, I am not the only sad log keeper (of things I have flown in/on rather than "flown") :cpu: . I recently passed 100 flights and was going to post some stastics but it was too boring (mostly 737/A32x). Still I have a few interesting types under my belt, a few British built aircraft including at least one made primarily from wood!

I remember A7-AAA being in Prestwick in 1980, and I got onboard for a look round, definitely a 5-star interior. I believe Sheik Yamani was using it as his personal hack at the time.

When I was with BIA (1984-1987), I recall chartering G-LEON from Chauffair although the reason slips my mind, it was either a crew movement or an AOG spare.

A7-AAA and A7-AAC were 707 and there was a 727 A7-AAD, a couple of bizjets and helicopters, all royal flight, just about comprised the whole Qatar register

I remember BIA having a Piper Aztec in full BIA livery, later full Air UK

There was also a Seneca with a British Airways tail and a Beech Baron in full BMA Blue Diamond livery.

I also saw the Air Anglia Navajo but not often.

The Aztec went back to full BIA colours and was based at Shoreham and used for crew movements. G-AYLY

So it went back to BIA after Air UK Livery?...stopped seeing it about that time, must have go to the reformed BIA *-)

Boring I know but I was sat looking at Flightradar24 the other day.. as you do.. and moved the mouse over stuff in the hope it wasn't either Ryanair or Easyjet and came across a Royal Saudi Air Force C130H :-O I tracked it's path back and it must have come out of Warton! By the time I copped it, it was already at FL210 motoring on at close to 300kts on a bearing of 149. I followed it all the way down to the channel.. it dropped to FL200 at Halesowen and climbed to FL220 after passing LGW. I left it mid channel at FL220/300kts/145deg heading for France :)

While this isn't as interesting (to us) as seeing the sky full of things on Garry's list.. it just shows how interesting a C130 can be these days :lol:
