I must say, for a small town, I've known an awful lot of people who apparently come from there.

Personally I think they should change the U to an E.

after the change they'll be saying

" We ain't no more " .....

So everything was fine until the US troops arrived. Where have we heard that before?

Ahh yes, this chestnut... I'd vote for a complete name-change, not just a tweak or two!

Maybe derive something completely different from its history? "Andnowfor"?

They should (and will) definitely stick to that name.
Sometimes I feel this village is even more famous than Vienna!
