This is a prolonged oscillatory spin in the RV-6A aeroplane...Most enjoyable!
This is an HD video so click the resolution up to 1080p and then click the "Full Screen" icon at bottom right.
I know that MS Flight does not have the word "Simulator" in it, but this is the very best Flight Simulation of a Spin
that I have ever seen. And I have done a lot of real life spinning!

Does it do it both ways?
I find I can get a model to work one way but not the other, I also notice that he is using aileron as well as rudder - I think my Provost does it on rudder alone, which is what I try to achieve.....

Yes I've done them both ways...The first was unintended and it was to the right for about three turns but I can't remember if I had any aileron applied. Certainly with that spin to the left it needed more persuasion with some inspin aileron but the aircraft was stalled with the airspeed fluctuating wildly and the hooter going. Aileron should only be used to persuade a reluctant aircraft and it really should be opposite to the rudder...However, if the aircraft starts to go in the direction of the aileron rather than the rudder then you should recover immediately as pressing on wil probably result in an inverted spin.
For that spin to the left, I entered with full rudder and stick full back (no aileron) and it entered the spin OK but it was very gyratory and erratic...I put some aileron in to try to improve it and it did. I would prefer not to have to use aileron, but I will have to experiment a bit more...It may go better to the right.
