Thanks for that Peter
The water is impressive and I particularly liked the bobbing action with the boat before move off and the bouncing of the nose against the short chop just before lift off
Whatever the shortcoming...I still don't really like the clouds..little details they have incorporated lift the experience up to a new level
Although there is a small area to fly..tbh I never do much more and a circuit of shot local nowadays in FS.9, so that shouldn't be too much of a limit if fun can be had in the area given.

That is a good point Garry...The free download has a huge area of accurate and impressive coastline to explore, as well as some mighty mountains in the middle. I love flying the Icon and that comes free...The Stearman is the other free aeroplane and I don't like that much because I do not have rudder pedals and it is a bit of a pain to taxi.
I love the smoothness of the flying (Fraps introduces tiny jerks in the video) and the Icon is such a pleasure to fly and easy to land on water...There are some very tight airfields on Hawai to provide more challenge and some are very difficult to see. In fact the visibilty of airfields is very realistically difficult...Unlike in our real simulators where they are far too easy to see. This sim/game is VERY VFR and is the scenery is very good.
I have bought the other available stuff and naturally I will certainly purchase the Alaska addition when they release it. If flying tubes full of passengers is your thing, then this is not for you...But it is GA heaven as far as I am concerned. BTW I really loved that Ketch in the opening scene of my video
