Not a joke this time!.I recently found my old Record of Service (logbook) from my Air Training Corps days and although it has suffered a bit of water damage somehow,it is mostly still fairly legible. It brings back many memories of summer camps and air experience flights etc.
Amongst other things it records a flight of 65 minutes I had on 16/08/1960 in a Varsity from RAF Ballykelly during summer camp there. However due to my terrible writing I can't quite make out the full serial number of the aircraft. The numerals are 331but the letters are virtually unreadable. They may possibly be WF or BF.I know it's a long shot but anyone here be able to help identify this aircraft? Thanks gents.EricT *-)

Hi Eric :hello:

WF331 was a Varsity T1

BF would be early WWII issue

Many thanks Garry, you're a star!I have now bookmarked that URL.
I can't recall which livery 331 was wearing at that time.I presume it would have been yellow training bands. EricT

Hi Eric

Pleasure

Yes :agree:

It would probably have been standard bands over the over the white top livery.

It has a long but probably uneventful career just busily getting on with it job almost unnoticed :)
