Classic British Flight Sim

If you take it for what it is a game rather than a sim, it is not bad at all. Very smooth good effects i.e. brake squeal, wind blowing the trees and shadows. Not bad on the scenery.

I take it that's supposed to be Pearl Noddy. Do any of the places actually try to look like they should.. if that makes sense?

I guess to a certain extent they do, but not to the levels of the FSX addons.

It is a good effort by MS, not perfect but a good platform to build from hopefully.

A nice video to demostrate flight is attached, it's long but does a good job to explain the in & outs of Flight.

PS no idea why the shots are showing so big, I did reduce them to 800x600!

Tks for that Re your shots.. we have upped the max limit to 1024x768 though I have to say, when I've tried posting a shot at this size.. the forum has come back and told me it was too big

I never made it through that vid mate.. couldn't hear the voices without blowing my speakers up I did however, look through a number of other 'Flight' vids. One that caught my eye showed a rather rough looking B73' which had reheat effects Another one I looked at finished by saying 'Don't buy this' It seems like the community will be as for and against it as they were with FSX.

Thought I'd give it a try as it's free

Looks quite nice with the detail turned up. Don't know what the frame rates are, but it's smooth enough. Saying that, there's not a lot going on really, no AI, ATC etc and it's a limited area so things should be smooth

I'll play a bit more, but then it's probably going to be deleted.

Yeh.. I wondered about the 'Don't buy' comment. Perhaps I was looking at a different sim?? The chap was in a biplane of some description flying through hoops. I think I saw it say he'd completed mission 4 Maybe he said 'Don't Use'
