Can this country get any more bloody stupid ??

The Dirty Digger's supply of sub-standard toilet paper once again stretches to 7 days a week...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-17165615

And what will we get ? Quote:

Columnist Katie Price - the glamour model formerly known as Jordan - pays tribute to Sunday Times reporter Marie Colvin, who was killed in Syria earlier in the week. She was just the sort of woman who impresses me - utterly fearless," writes Price.

We actually care what that silicone-enhanced airhead thinks about the death of war correspondent Marie Colvin ? Do we care about anything she thinks, in fact ?
Its things like this that make me want to become a hermit in the Himalayas.

Reality is so distorted these days

I can't think of a single penny "Jordan"/Katie Price has properly earned...not in recent years at least

On top of that she looks down on most people as being sub standard.

Ahh the venerable Katie Price....I have one obvious observation with this one.

'Always the Bride but never the Bridesmaid'

I am trying to avoid reading the news these days, it just gets me angry and raises my BP. I don't know what it is but trivia and trivial people are celebrated and rewarded these days. Coupled with increasing and graphic reports of sensless violence, and cruelty, I want to go to an island where I can shut out just about everything.

I would imagine Jordan has no idea of the individual she is paying tribute to. *-)

Its just her playing the PR guitar.

Thats whats made her a rich and 'successful' business person.

No such thing as bad PR as they say..

 Not so much 'surprised' as increasingly despairing, Chris.

I remember embarrassing my daughters in the Cambridge branch of W H Smith when upon spotting a stack of Jade Goody's biography, I reacted rather loudly to the effect of ' Who the bloody hell reads this CRAP ? '

These days, you are more likely to come across someone who knows the final score of the 1939 FA Cup Final than someone who's ever heard of Neville Chamberlain.
