Not sure what will become of long term Lufthansa ground trainer V.814 Viscount D-ANAF at Frankfurt

Boeing 737-530's are being retired progressively for scrapping as the latest Airbuses arrive.

However D-ABJI has been retired to Frankfurt to take up a new career as a ground trainer to replace the Viscount.

Did a search on the German google and found no new information. I assume it stays where it is until we discover otherwise

The 737 won't take over just yet...nothing will happen for a while but worth keeping an eye open.

The 737 was ferried on 23 Dec to be used to replace the Viscount so it is still yet to happen and there will probably be no hurry in doing it.
